Johnson County, KS,­ was not surveyed by MetLife. The average cost for private nursing care in Johnson County, KS, was determined by a survey of nearby retirement communities.

If you need a long-term stay in assisted living, memory support or skilled nursing care, your monthly fee will change to the equalized fee plus the cost of two additional meals daily. An exception is an individual whose spouse continues to live in independent living, in which case the health care cost for the individual is the second-person fee plus the cost of two additional meals a day.
